Registration

• Registration is mid-April through mid-June
• Practices and Games run August through October
• Practices usually begin in August. The regular season begins the first weekend after Labor Day and runs for 10-12 weeks, depending on the weather. Games are played on Saturdays and Sundays
• The soccer program is open to all children living within the St. Alban Roe parish boundaries

Pre-K Friday Night Lights

JK girls and boys
SAR will host a relaxed kickaround league for kids and families. Families meet at SAR on Friday evenings only (no weekday practices or formal games). The goal is to introduce the kids to soccer in a fun, safe, and structured environment. Parents and siblings are welcome!

Training League

K-1st grade girls and boys
Training league is designed to introduce boys and girls to the game of soccer and help to build a foundation of basic skills that will be developed further in the CYC league. All games are played at either SAR or Chesterfield Athletic Complex on the weekend with a weekday practice arranged by the coach.

CYC Soccer

2nd-8th grade girls and boys
CYC soccer is our main recreational soccer program. Games are played both at SAR and away at other schools within the Northwest CYC District. The goal is to provide a safe and structured environment for kids to play recreational soccer and to build a love of the game that will last a lifetime

To register for the St. Alban Roe CYC soccer program, you must meet one of the following criteria

1. Attend school at St. Alban Roe Catholic School
2. Live within the St. Alban Roe Parish boundaries
3. Be Catholic and a registered member of St. Alban Roe Parish
4. Attend a public elementary school whose public school boundary falls within St. Alban Roe Parish boundaries (e.g. Pond, Babler, Green Pines, CES, Ellisville)

Uniform Information

• Friday Night Lights (PreK) and Training League (K-1st grade)
  • A jersey will  be provided as part of the registration fee. Shorts and socks will be the responsibility of the athlete. Black is recommended but not required.
• CYC League (2nd – 4th grade)
  • Beginning with the 2026 Soccer season, St. Alban Roe soccer jersey is a required additional cost for 2nd -4th grade participants.
  • The soccer uniform will consist of a jersey, shorts, and soccer socks. The jersey must be purchased at Fisher’s for each athlete by July 18. This is your jersey-you keep it at the end of the season to use for future seasons.
  • Shorts and socks must be maroon. They may be purchased at a retailer of your choice. There is an option to buy matching maroon soccer shorts on the uniform website.
  • Make sure you select which grade each student is entering into to help with assigning jersey numbers.

• CYC League (5th – 8th grade)
  • The soccer uniform will consist of a jersey, shorts, and soccer socks. The jersey and shorts are the previous years’ parish owned uniforms that will be included in registration. Maroon Soccer socks are not included in registration and each athlete is responsible for purchasing these items separately from a retailer of their choice.

Updated West County Sports Registration Information

CYC has moved to a region-site for all sport seasons. All parishes in the West County District (St. Alban Roe) are now part of the Northwest Region.

To register for fall sports, please follow these instructions

1. Login to your account at CYC Northwest
2. Add ALL family members that will be registering for a 2025-2026 program or that should receive communication from CYC
3. Enter the grade of the player
4. Opt-in for text messages
5. Be sure you download the latest version of the Team Sideline app and login with your credentials
